I haven't updated this in ages. One of my new years resolutions is to update this blog at least once a week from now on, even if I'm tired and don't want to and I hate my life and I want to cry. whaaaahh!
*cough cough*
Here's something I did a month ago, perhaps more.
This is an animation I made from life drawing class. We'd spend about 40 seconds redrawing each frame before taking a photo and moving on. This took about 3 1/2 hours of time in the life drawing space and 3 hours in Adobe Premier because the bloody software lacks shortcuts and takes ages longer than it should. For the last bit of time we were asked what we'd like the model to do as an action for us to draw. I had the idea of getting him to do the Thriller dance move and ended up having to demonstrate it to him too. How awfully quaint you must think I am.
p.s. the video quality looks as if someone's sneezed onto the computer screen. I give up.
p.p.s. There's a jump mid way in the man's walk because I arrived late to class --I forgot we were starting back from lunch half an hour early :/
Wow...I can tell the whole process must have taken forever. I love it when each drawing gets rubbed out and a new one gets drawn over the top a gorgeous smudge builds up.
ReplyDeleteI remember having to use Premier in the first year, and I'm with you on how utterly frustrating the software is!!!
Looking forward to you posting more often :D
It also didn,t help that I was there having a breakdown over mine and needed your help every five seconds lol :)
