Hey

I have so much to update this blog with that I'm pretty overwhelmed. Last week I had an awesome 5 days in Paris with my illustration class, I've a new camera lens and lots of other stuff which I should be updating this blog with but y'know, it takes a quite a bit of effort for me to write this stuff. Bear with me. Also, I had a big coursework deadline this week so yeah this is why I haven't updated in a while. I've already broken my new years resolution haven't I :/

Thriller!!

Work is going well.

I haven't updated this in ages. One of my new years resolutions is to update this blog at least once a week from now on, even if I'm tired and don't want to and I hate my life and I want to cry. whaaaahh!

*cough cough*

Here's something I did a month ago, perhaps more.

This is an animation I made from life drawing class. We'd spend about 40 seconds redrawing each frame before taking a photo and moving on. This took about 3 1/2 hours of time in the life drawing space and 3 hours in Adobe Premier because the bloody software lacks shortcuts and takes ages longer than it should. For the last bit of time we were asked what we'd like the model to do as an action for us to draw. I had the idea of getting him to do the Thriller dance move and ended up having to demonstrate it to him too. How awfully quaint you must think I am.

p.s. the video quality looks as if someone's sneezed onto the computer screen. I give up.

p.p.s. There's a jump mid way in the man's walk because I arrived late to class --I forgot we were starting back from lunch half an hour early :/
